Privacy Policy

Wake is an Android application designed to protect a user-declared wake objective. This Privacy Policy explains how Wake handles information in the current version of the application.
Information Wake processes
To provide wake protection, Wake may process information such as:
- Your wake schedule and wake objectives.
- Wake mission and protection status.
- Alarm and verification timing information.
- Wake verification and recovery outcomes.
- Application state required to continue a wake mission reliably.
- Local diagnostic and operational events used to understand whether Wake worked correctly.
Where information is stored
In the current version, Wake's operational history, mission state and related information are stored locally on the user's device.
Wake does not currently require a user account or cloud connection for its core wake-protection functionality.
Android permissions
Wake may request Android permissions required to perform its core wake-protection function, including permissions related to notifications, exact alarms and full-screen alarm experiences.
These permissions are used to protect and verify wake objectives and to provide recovery behavior when necessary.
Advertising and sale of personal information
Wake does not currently display advertising and does not sell personal information.
Data retention and deletion
Information stored locally by Wake remains on the device according to the application's retention behavior. Users may remove application-local data through Android application storage controls or by uninstalling Wake. Device or operating-system backup behavior may vary.
Future services
Wake may introduce optional account, synchronization, analytics or other online capabilities in future versions. If those capabilities change the categories of information collected, transmitted or stored, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
Children
Wake is not specifically designed or directed toward children under 13.
Security
Wake is designed to limit information processing to what is necessary for its functionality. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect information using reasonable technical safeguards.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Wake evolves. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
